Music To Kill Bad People To is a compilation of demos and rare recordings by Australian acid rock band King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, recorded between 2011 and 2020. Part of the official Bootlegger series, this LP has exclusive cover art by visual artist Griffin Scanlan, and was mastered by Joseph Carra. Limited to only 200 copies worlwide, officially out June 4, 2021.
Summer in Algeria b/w Devotion is the newest release from Chicago-based indie rockers, the Roof Dogs. Every copy of this 7” will be pressed on a random color variant. Limited to only 100 units from Broom Closet Records. Recorded and mixed by Robbie Hamilton at Strange Magic Recording in Chicago IL. Mastered by Adam Boose at Cauliflower Audio in Cleveland, OH.
Steven King On Ice is the songwriter's sophomore LP which navigates themes of despair, uncertainty, and redemption. The songs feature lyrics complete with references to harsh a reality, as well as a dark, tongue-in-cheek sense of humor. This nine track release explores dense musical landscapes, including full orchestra arrangements, string accompaniments, and an a huge percussion base by Daniel Seibert. At the helm of the engineering and production side is Maddy Ciampa, who also lends cello, vocals, synthesizer and bass guitar tracks to a majority of the songs.
