‘Earth Hurts’ is a stripped down acoustic record released out of restlessness. Most of the songs on the album were created the week after Steven King arrived home from a western solo tour in July 2018 and were originally recorded to his iPhone. Rather than book studio time he decided to record five of the tracks almost entirely live in his Columbus, Ohio living room.
